Choosing and changing a template
SwfTap has 24 templates, each a complete page built for a kind of work: a cafe, a real estate agent, a consultant, a photographer and so on. A template sets the layout, colours, type and the blocks on the page. It never brings in the sample person, company, bio or links you see in its preview: your own name and details go in their place, and every sample link arrives empty so nothing points somewhere it shouldn't.
Picking one
When you set up your account, the second step suggests templates for what you told us you do, with "See all 24 templates" below. Later, open Profiles, select a profile and click Templates. Filter by category (Professional, Property & Design, Health & Fitness, Local Business, Creators, Events & Causes) or search by name, pick a template to preview it, then click "Use this template".
What changes
- Applying a template replaces the profile's current draft: the blocks and the design. A message under the preview says so before you confirm.
- Your name, role, company, photo and bio carry over into the new layout.
- Blocks with dashed outlines still need their details, such as a link for each button. They stay hidden on your public page until you fill them in.
- Nothing goes live until you click Publish. If you change your mind straight away, click Undo on the message that appears.
